Manage Borehole and Well Construction Data in GW-Base® and visualize it with GW-Bore®
GW-Bore is a fully compatible extension to GW-Base to evaluate and visualize all geological data, well and station construction information as well as geophysical logs. All data required for visualization like stratigraphy, petrography, logs, casing and drilling information is managed in the GW-Base database. With GW-Base and GW-Bore you are able to manage all geological, hydrogeological and technical data in one database respectively in one system which significantly facilitates data evaluation.
geological cross sections with interpolated layers
And much more
You can create new stratigraphic layers in table form or directly in an empty borehole log.
GW-Bore® will assort layers entered in table form automatically, depending on their depth below surface. The coloring of the borehole log helps you to identify the different materials at a glance, and allows you to easily identify the significance of secondary soil types. The display of different materials varies in width depending on the corresponding materials proportion.
GW-Bore Borehole Log
All layer descriptions added in GW-Base will be automatically displayed in the borehole log diagram in GW-Bore.
The corresponding symbology for denoted geology, soil and rock types will be automatically created and appropriately labeled.
GW-Bore features an extensive stratigraphy editor which can be customized and extended in order to be able to represent regional stratigraphic sequences / members.
All stratigraphic tables which have been edited or created in GW-Bore can easily be exported and imported again.
GW-Bore creates line charts, plots, histograms, results from SPT tests and diagrams of geothermal energy.
All different diagram types can be displayed next to each other, allowing an overall evaluation of the geological situation. Furthermore, GW-Bore offers a wide array of additional visualization and export options.
GW-Bore Cross Sections
GW-Bore features the display of several borehole logs simultaneously.
If corresponding coordinates and elevations of the borehole logs are available, it is possible to create projected geological cross sections that are true to scale. Other objects, e.g. the ground surface or an interpolated geological layer boundary, can be added to the cross section and edited.
Station Construction Diagrams
GW-Bore Station Construction
You can use GW-Bore® to create detailed and accurately scaled station construction and casing diagrams.
Water levels, borehole filling, used casing materials and elements or any other casing information can be displayed with GW-Bore. Numerous catalogs included in GW-Bore enhance and expedite the process of creating new diagrams considerably.
